The Missouri Bar is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to provide legal guidance, risk management support, and project leadership under the direction of the General Counsel. This position supports organizational operations and serves as a key liaison for committees, including the Judicial Performance Review (JPR) Committee. Key responsibilities include providing legal counsel and research support; drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, and legal documents; monitoring legal and regulatory developments; supporting committee work and special projects; assisting with statewide communications and meeting logistics; and identifying legal risks while recommending practical solutions. Qualifications: J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and licensed to practice in Missouri (or eligible for admission) with a minimum of two years of legal experience. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and a proven ability to provide sound legal guidance, manage multiple priorities, and work collaboratively. Experience with public, nonprofit, or professional organizations preferred.
