Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

The main duties for this position are to assist Maintenance Supervisor perform ongoing facility maintenance and keeping the facility operating during production hours. Please note, this role is not for a handy-man, we are looking for someone who can do maintenance for a Tier-1 supplier.

Responsibilities 

• Responsible for assuring that appropriate safeguards are in place which have direct impact on the Health and Safety of associates and the environment

• Provide minor repairs, modifications and adjustments of production equipment according to prescribed procedures.

• Maintain adequate spare parts inventory to ensure that the production lines will run efficiently.

• Analyze and report major equipment malfunction and building repairs.

• Maintain records on the equipment maintenance repair, modification and changes made on production equipment.

• Make recommendations on plans for the improvement of the preventive maintenance.

• Coordinate in the installation of the incoming or additional equipment in the facility.
• Do other jobs that maybe assigned from time to time. 

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

• Mechanical/Electrical Background

• Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are thoroughly completed.
• Ensure any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
