Class A Drivers Training

Thank you for your interest in Cypress Truck Lines! Below is an overview of the basic criteria and structure for our Cypress Training Center (CTC) CDL-A program.

Please note that this information is subject to change at any time without notice and may vary slightly depending on your training location (Jacksonville, FL).

We pay for your school, provide spending money while you are in training and orientation, and continue to pay you while you complete on-the-road instruction with a trainer.

All we ask in return is that you commit to drive with us for 12 months — though we’d love to have you stay and build a long-term career with Cypress for 5, 10, or even 20 years

Before You Attend

You must have your CDL-A Permit before attending class.

To get started:

• Visit your local DMV and take the CDL Class A Permit Test, which includes:
• General Knowledge
• Combination Vehicle
• Air Brakes
• You will also need to complete a DOT Physical.
