POLICE OFFICER TESTING

1. LEBANON POLICE DEPARTMENT will be conducting a physical agility and written exam for the position of POLICE OFFICER on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Starting salary of $82,264, with step increases. Starting salary of $93,990 for certified officers with 3 or more years of experience. Starting salary for successful applicants entering the Allegheny County Police Academy is $64,688. Mt. Lebanon offers a wide range of benefits including excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits. Must be a U.S. citizen; 21 years of age at hire; bachelor’s degree from accredited college/university at hire; pass physical, written, oral exams plus a comprehensive background investigation. Successful applicants must reside within 25 air miles of the Mt. Lebanon Public Safety Building (555 Washington Rd. 15228), within 12 months of hire date.
