Assistant Vice President for Advancement, College of Medicine

ZRG Aspen Leadership Group is proud to partner with the University of Florida in their search for an Assistant Vice President for Advancement, College of Medicine.

Serving as a member of the UF Advancement and UF Health development leadership teams, the Assistant Vice President for Advancement, College of Medicine (AVP) will serve as the chief advancement officer for the college, providing strategic leadership and oversight for all fundraising, grateful patient philanthropy, and advancement initiatives. The AVP will lead the College of Medicine advancement team, direct the college's fundraising priorities and campaign strategy, and develop comprehensive programs that support the institution's education, research, clinical, and strategic objectives. This role will be instrumental in advancing the College of Medicine's contribution to the university's fundraising campaign while fostering a strong culture of philanthropy among donors, alumni, faculty, grateful patients, and other key stakeholders.

Reporting to the Senior Associate Vice President & Chief Advancement Officer, UF Health (SRAVP/CAO), the AVP will collaborate closely with partners across annual giving, grateful patient philanthropy, stewardship, communications, and prospect development to maximize philanthropic support and identify new funding opportunities. The incumbent will manage a portfolio of leadership and principal gift prospects ($1M+), while providing leadership, coaching, and strategic direction to the College of Medicine Advancement team and cultivating a culture of high performance, collaboration, accountability, and professionalism throughout the organization.

A bachelor's degree and 10 years of appropriate experience, or a master's degree and eight years of appropriate experience, along with demonstrated success soliciting gifts at $1 million and above in an institution of higher education, is required for this position.

The salary range for this position is $250,000 to $280,000.
