Join Our Team as an Office Assistant
Martha's Vineyard Shipyard is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Office Assistant to help support our daily operations. This position is ideal for someone with experience in administrative support, data entry, billing, bookkeeping, or office coordination who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and ensuring accuracy.

Your primary responsibility will be managing employee timecard information and entering work data into our billing system so that customers are invoiced accurately and on time. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. While experience in office administration is preferred, we will provide training on our systems and processes.

What You'll Do
Collect and review employee timecards daily for accuracy and completeness
Enter employee hours and job-related information into the billing system
Verify timekeeping data and ensure customer billing information is correct
Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies quickly and accurately
Maintain organized records and documentation
Provide general administrative and clerical support to the office team
Assist with day-to-day office operations and special projects as needed

What We're Looking For
Previous experience in an office, administrative, billing, bookkeeping, payroll, or data entry role
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
